I did join the type correctly (push them until I got a firm lock), should this mean the type is 100% sealed? From what I understand, you are not suppose to put aluminum tape on type b vent piping. If you walk all the way up to joints you can slighly see some "steam" or "mist" (I dont know what the chemical is) coming out of the joints after about 5 minutes of operation. I fixed all of the sloping issues and replace all of the pipe with type b (double wall), however it seems like all of the b vent piping is leaking at the joints VERY slightly. The previous homeowner installed the piping wrong and didn't have the correct slopes and other wrong things. I just replaced all of my furnace ventilation piping all the way outside (my furnace is in my basement). Our 20th year anniversary is May 21, 2020.
